Deploying Automated Vehicles (AVs) is no simple feat, and this can be a particular challenge in small communities. In Grand Rapids, Minnesota, a demand-response, general public AV pilot has been running for a year, answering a lot of questions and bringing up many more. We talk to The Plum Catalyst, a partner in running the pilot, about those questions and lessons learned that other interested communities will face.
