Join the continuing conversation on Mobilizing transit and public health partnerships for COVID-19 vaccinations.

Purpose: Assist the public health and public transportation sectors in identifying ways to collaborate to ensure all Americans living in rural and small urban communities are vaccinated.

Intended Audience: Mobility management professionals, public transportation providers, state departments of transportation, and local and state public health agencies

Description: Three 45-minute live (and recorded) conversations featuring practical examples of how public transit is collaborating with public health to ensure Americans have access to the COVID-19 vaccine.

March 24th (12-12:45 pm ET): North Carolina DOT has distributed $2.5 million in Coronavirus Relief Funds to all 100 NC counties to support transportation operating costs to provide rides to/from vaccines. The Vermont Public Transit Assn. has long collaborated with its state public health staff, and has recently focused its efforts in ensuring community members can be vaccinated when it is their turn.
